Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a People Officer (HR / People & Culture). The People Officer will be responsible for managing HR functions, including developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, and creating job descriptions. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth HR operations, supporting recruitment processes, and addressing employee concerns efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
Lead recruitment lifecycle, workforce planning & talent partnerships
Oversee compliance, staff files, and audit-ready documentation
Drive performance management, learning & staff engagement initiatives
Partner with leadership on culture, inclusion & development
Support conflict resolution frameworks and ensure procedural compliance

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s in HR/Business/Management (Master’s/HR certifications a plus)
8–10 years’ HR experience across strategic & operational HR
Strong expertise in recruitment, compliance, and performance management
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
Ethical, resilient, and collaborative mindset
Background in healthcare/service-led organisations is desirable
