Job Title: SDET – Automation Testing

Experience: 4–8 Years

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and API automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring robust testing processes, and contributing to high-quality product delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automation test suites for web and API testing using Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
Participate in all phases of Agile/Scrum development, including planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
Perform root cause analysis and debugging for failed tests and reported issues.
Document test execution outcomes, and provide feedback on software quality and process improvement opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
Mandatory Skills: Strong programming experience in Java.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
Experience in REST API automation, using tools/frameworks such as TestNG or Rest Assured.
Proficient in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good to Have: Experience with the Karate framework for API automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
Knowledge of version control systems (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Understanding of performance or security testing is a plus.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
