UX Engineer IBM

Required technical and professional expertise

Background in computer science/engineering or web design with 2+ years of coding experience

A strong interest in both design and UI/UX development

Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, Javascript and responsive web design.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Able to work in a global team

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with UX design tools, UI mockups, and/or website design

Desirable to have experience with Carbon JS.

CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, Stylus)

Front-end development best practices

Building accessible and localized user interfaces

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues

Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
