Admission Counsellor

Lawctopus Law School is an ed-tech organisation for law students and young lawyers. Our media platform Lawctopus.com serves over 4 lakh readers every month and our Ed-tech platform served 2500 learners last year.

We are a 15-year old brand and a known name in the legal industry. We have been covered in Economic Times, India Today, Careers360. Our management team has won BW Legal 40 under 40 and 30 under 30 awards, spoken at TEDx talks (twice), and we were shortlisted for the prestigious Agami Prize.

We are now scaling-up and are looking for high-performing individuals who want to grow fast with the company. We are a 100% remote team of 20 full-time people and work in an organised fashion (using KPIs and OKRs). Working hours are fixed (10 am to 7 pm) and we work 5.5 days a week

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in B2C sales, admission counselling, or customer-facing roles
Prior ed-tech, legal, or academic counselling experience is a plus
Law graduates with good communication and interest in sales are welcome
Key Responsibilities:

Call leads generated through website sign-ups, WhatsApp, and other campaigns
Explain course features, outcomes, and address doubts through phone, message, and email
Address chat queries recieved over WhatsApp and Website
Convert warm leads into enrollments by building trust and rapport
Maintain and update lead records using CRM; implement other advanced SalesTech tools
Coordinate with marketing and product teams to share feedback from prospects
Must-Have Skills:

Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (spoken + written)
Strong sales and persuasion ability, especially in consultative selling
Disciplined follow-up and time management
Empathetic, student-first approach to guide learners toward the right course
Comfortable using basic digital tools and advanced SalesTech tools: Google Sheets, Zoom, and CRM platforms
Target orientation with a focus on quality conversations

Pay: ₹40,000.00 – ₹80,000.00 per month
