About Organisation: LEPRA Society is an organization working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.
About the Project: The SHAKTHI (Sustainable Health Approaches for Key Tribal Communities Health Interventions) project aims to reduce the burden of neglected and vector-borne diseases in tribal block Bakawand, Bastar through community-based prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and health system strengthening. Duration of project is for 3 Years.
We seek a qualified Finance & Admin. Officer, position based at Bakawand Block, Bastar District, Chhattisgarh, to manage human resources, finances, and overall administration for the project.
The position is for immediate employment
The Finance and Admin Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, reporting, and providing essential administrative support for the smooth functioning of the project. This includes grant management, financial monitoring, recruitment coordination, and oversight of office infrastructure and logistics at the block level.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with organizational and donor financial policies.
Support grant management, including budget tracking, fund utilization monitoring, and timely disbursement of project expenses.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and financial forecasts.
Provide administrative coordination for recruitment processes including scheduling interviews, documentation, and onboarding support.
Manage day-to-day office operations including procurement, logistics, stock registers, and vendor coordination.
Ensure timely maintenance of office assets, supplies, equipment, and safe record-keeping of administrative files.
Coordinate with head office and field staff for timely communication, reporting, and compliance support.
Maintain updated HR files for project staff and support attendance and leave tracking systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in administrative and finance role.
Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public administration).
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English (100% proficiency in both required, including local language. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (Tally or equivalent.

Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- (Gross) per month
