Nestled in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, Ty Afon – River House is a charming ten-bedroom hotel offering boutique bed & breakfast accommodation and dining for guests from around the world. Where we also provide exclusive hire for weddings and events.

Alongside that we have a coffee shop at Ty Coets (The Coach House), which features an additional three bed & breakfast rooms and a holiday cottage (Snowdonia Stone Cottage) located in a 16th-century copper miner’s cottage.

Our business’s span three locations in the picturesque village of Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, with properties within walking distance of each other: Ty Afon River House (LL55 4NB), The Coach House (LL55 4YB), and Snowdonia Stone Cottage (LL55 4LY).

Maintain accurate financial records using QBO or similar accounting software
Raising internal and external sale invoicing.
Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash
Track income from all sources: direct bookings, OTAs (Booking.com, Airbnb), events, and upsells
Process purchase invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments through dext system.
Prepare and assist in VAT returns
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with HMRC
Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
Manage accounts receivable/payable
Ensure all transactions are correctly coded and matched with receipts
Liaise with the accountant for year-end and tax returns
Manage cash flow forecasting and scenario planning
Track profitability by revenue stream (rooms, weddings, extras)
Recommend pricing and cost control strategies
Prepare annual forecast and update it each month through Liveplan
Operations Oversight

Be on top of the communication with the clients and prospects
Develop and maintain SOPs for bookings, cleaning schedules, and supply management
Liaise with on-site team (housekeepers, maintenance) to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee supplier relationships and renegotiate contracts for best value
Monitor inventory for amenities, linen, cleaning supplies, etc.
Support implementation of new booking systems or operational tech tools
Reporting & Strategy

Provide weekly performance updates to the owner
Monitor KPIs (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest reviews, costs etc)
Support wedding/event operations with scheduling and logistics when needed
Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and insurance requirements
Skills & Experience Required

5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or hospitality management
Strong knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting tools
Experience in hospitality or boutique accommodation preferred
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, forecasts, scenario modelling)
Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organised
Strong communication and remote coordination skills
Ability to work independently and problem-solve
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 – ₹85,000.00 per month
