School Counsellor for an International school in South Mumbai

SCHOOL COUNSELLOR URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR CENTRAL MUMBAI’S ICSE & CAMBRIDGE A LEVELS school, as part of their expansion plan. We invite applications from a dynamic & passionate School Counsellor to become part of the fraternity immediately. LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE.

If you are fluent in English, have the ability to counsel the students with patience but with passion, and have a pleasing personality, you should apply now:

Develops and discusses the comprehensive school counseling program with the school leaders focusing Guidance Curriculum, Individual Students Planning, Preventive & Responsive Services and most remaining time in Program Management, system Support and Accountability.
Conduct group counselling sessions to develop culture, morality and a sense of responsibility among students towards growing up as ideal citizens.
Counsel students individually based on affected area/s and provide the best possible method to decipher the situation on case-to-case basis.
Interact with students, teachers, and parents to maintain discipline, monitor progress in affected areas, and report to school leaders about measures to take for violations of school discipline by individuals/ groups.
Maintain records of counselling children along with their improvements in proper documentation format.
Follow Health & Safety practices to maintain a safe and clean work environment and be proactive in matters of health and safety.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the school management from time to time.
Qualification:

Bachelor’s/ Masters in Clinical Psychology

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a School Counsellor

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month depending upon qualifications, experience and track record
