Sentior Systems Engineer and InTunes Specialist

AWD is a rapidly growing Web, Digital and IT Solution provider based in Collingwood Victoria. We are currently looking for some Overseas Talent in the position of System Automation Engineer.

Minimum 7 years of IT Experience is required

Automation & Process Improvement

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automating Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune tasks.
Experience in creating and managing automation workflows using Power Automate.
Ability to develop scripts for automating onboarding/offboarding processes, software deployments, and reporting.
Knowledge of API integrations for connecting different IT systems and improving efficiency (e.g., ConnectWise API, SentinelOne API).
Experience in automating patch management, compliance monitoring, and security enforcement.
Microsoft Administration

Strong experience in managing Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Proficiency in Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID, including user/group management, policies, and permissions.
Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and enforcing security best practices (Essential Eight and ISO27001).
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender security stack (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, etc.).
Familiarity with Microsoft compliance and governance features, such as DLP, retention policies, and auditing.
Azure Administration

Strong understanding of Azure RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and Conditional Access policies.
Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center to enhance operational visibility and security posture.
Ability to manage hybrid cloud environments and support cloud migrations.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions within Azure.
Intune

Proficient in managing device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security baselines.
Experience with Windows Autopilot deployment, application packaging, and deployment.
Ability to manage mobile devices (iOS and Android) through Intune, enforcing corporate and BYOD policies and security.
Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows and macOS endpoint management.
Understanding of BitLocker encryption and security policies enforcement.
Familiarity with Jamf for macOS/iOS management.
Additional Skills & Competencies

Exposure to Inforcer (less common, but a plus for Microsoft 365 security standardization).
Strong documentation skills for creating SOPs, technical guides, and automation scripts.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ConnectWise) for ticketing and change management.
Hands-on experience with ConnectWise (RMM, Automate, PSA) for monitoring, patching, and ticketing automation.
Knowledge of SentinelOne for endpoint security and integrating it with RMM tools.
