Job description
What you’ll do
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager Finance & Accounting with 7–10 years of core accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US & UK accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R) processes, managing month-end close activities, and working with ERP tools like QuickBooks, BlackLine, and SAP. Strong abilities in team management, client interaction, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of month-end and year-end closing activities.

Oversee Record to Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, and ledger reviews.

Handle core accounting operations in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.

Liaise with clients (US & UK regions) to understand requirements, resolve queries, and maintain strong business relationships.

Work closely with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Use and optimize ERP tools such as SAP, QuickBooks, and BlackLine for reporting, reconciliation, and automation.

Drive process improvements and standardization across accounting operations.

Train, mentor, and supervise team members; perform performance evaluations and set development plans.

Ensure timely submission of financial reports and support the finance controller in ad hoc projects.
