What you’ll do
Job Responsibilities:

This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas:

Category buying, performance analysis, trend analysis, sales forecasting, merchandising strategy, assortment planning, maximizing revenue and margins, onboarding brands.
Planogram planning and merchandising of products at a national level to bring out the differentiation in order to satisfy diverse customer needs.
Replenishment & purchase order management.
Identify new sources of supply and assess their suitability to business.
Negotiate and continually assess existing suppliers to optimize performance and improve terms to reduce prices
Price comparisons with competition on key lines for online platform and offline stores
Vendor negotiations for monthly promotions and secondary income for the category.
Review stock levels daily /weekly and create an action plan to resolve issues
Effective communication with suppliers on liquidation of potential expiry stock.
Research on opportunities and development of customer group with high margin sales.

Requirement:
