Position: Assistant Manager – HR
Organisation: A leading social sector firm
Qualification: Post Graduate in Human Resources
Experience: 6-9 years in HRBP
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for communication and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
Maintain and update the local Employee Handbook, in collaboration with the HR leadership team
Help roll out salary scales in collaboration with the HR Head and HR Business Partner
Supervise all aspects of local payroll, compliance including regularly ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations
Provide HR support to teams on India employee performance, employee surveys, workforce planning, and employee relations.
Support development and implement disciplinary actions, in collaboration with the Head HR
Manage all local recruitment, map program wise talent requirement, build the talent pipeline, andpartner with HQ HR on international hires.
Manage all aspects of hiring new staff including contract templates, required paperwork and new hire orientations
Manage the Learning and Development initiatives from Learning and Development tools that support employee retention
Manage all aspects of HQ HRIS protocols including timely and accurate entries; secure storageof other personnel information / files required by local laws for compliance tracking.
Support work authorization issues related to international staff assigned to the country office
Manage HR dashboards and reports using Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query), analyze data to generate actionable insights for India leadership team.
Support the Head HR in the annual performance review process to provide training and ensure evaluations are completed in a professional and timely manner
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field from reputed institutions.
Minimum 6-9 years of relevant experience in HR functions.
Demonstrated expertise in HR analytics and development of Excel-based dashboards.
Proven hands-on experience in recruitment and employee engagement initiatives, andresolve employee related issues.
Exposure to HRBP responsibilities within a social development sector, consulting firm or consumer focused / manufacturing organizations.
Experience in Learning and Development initiatives will be added advantage
Knowledge on labour laws, and statutory compliance will be preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership.
