Role Overview

This role is specifically designed for women engineers returning to professional practice after a career break due to maternity, caregiving, personal commitments, or other life circumstances.

As an Associate Engineer – Clean Energy Consulting, you will work closely with senior engineers and consultants on live renewable energy assignments. The role offers a structured re-entry into technical consulting, combining analytical desk work with selective field exposure, enabling confidence rebuilding and skill renewal in a professional, supportive environment.

The position involves preparation of technical deliverables and client-facing presentations; therefore, clarity of communication and willingness to present work are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of Feasibility Studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and Techno-Commercial Evaluations for renewable energy projects
Support energy yield analysis, performance benchmarking, and preliminary cost assessments under guidance of senior consultants
Prepare technical documentation, spreadsheets, presentations, and structured reports suitable for internal reviews and client submission
Conduct research on:
Renewable energy technologies
Regulatory and policy frameworks
Industry standards and market trends
Participate in need-based site visits for data collection, surveys, inspections, and practical understanding of projects
(This is not a daily or full-time site role)
Attend internal project meetings, review sessions, and structured learning programs
Gradually rebuild hands-on consulting capability through participation in solar, wind, hydro, and hybrid energy projects

Education

B.E. / B.Tech in:
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Energy / Power Engineering
First Class or minimum 7.00 CGPA
Experience

Career break candidates are explicitly encouraged
Fresh graduates may also be considered
Prior experience in engineering, consulting, EPC, utilities, or infrastructure projects will be viewed positively
Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and numerical aptitude
Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and technical report writing
Ability to structure information clearly and logically
Willingness to relearn tools, methodologies, and industry practices
