Job description
What you’ll do
Promote, support and sell Fire Protection products to meet sales and contribution targets.
Arranging meetings with contractors and other specifiers to discuss the fire protection requirements of specific projects, and through technical knowledge and commercial skill, convert this to sales.
Develop and Maintain Channel partners in the region.
Network with the key influencers in the area to build market understanding and a reputation of knowing the key projects, people and other influences on the fire protection market in the area.
Deliver presentations to EPC Contractors/customers/Consultants/Local authorities.
Provide information on the possible added value of all company products and systems in the Cross-industry markets.
Provide management and colleagues with information on project opportunities, competition, buying customers, new product and application opportunities identified.
Utilize modern communication tools effectively to communicate with colleagues, customers and managers, record and report activity through e-mails, monthly reports and project system.
Required to balance the needs of the customer with the commercial needs of the business to achieve sales within contribution targets. Logistical concerns regarding delivery and product availability must also be considered.
Maintain and develop excellent product knowledge of relevant products.
To develop sales by promoting new products or applications to an appropriate client base.
To plan product promotions with suppliers to achieve sales targets.
To maintain effective communication, development and engagement at customer Level.
To demonstrate a good working knowledge of market conditions and trends.
Establish a network of architects, specifiers, contractors, installers, dealers and fire departments.
Advise on all existing and new fire-resistant products and solutions, which can be supplied by the company, to become the preferential partner with regard to fire protection.
Give training on all possible products and applications in the field of fire protection.
Take determined steps to detect projects where company solutions and systems can be applied.
Follow-up of contacts with the consultants / architects regarding projects & sites in progress.
Provide the necessary advice to the contractors/ applicators.
Provide the necessary support and advice during the installation of the systems.
Give training to architects, installers, contractors, dealers, etc.
Record market activity in the CRM tool.
