What you’ll do
We are seeking a Hydrogen Engineer/Researcher with hands-on experience in hydrogen-based technologies, specifically in the areas of electrolyze systems and their applications in the railway sector. The candidate will also be responsible for technical estimation, feasibility studies, and cost modeling for hydrogen-based railway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and development on hydrogen production, storage, and application in railway systems.
Evaluate and select appropriate electrolyze technologies (PEM, Alkaline, Solid Oxide) for project needs.
Prepare cost estimations, feasibility studies, and techno-commercial proposals for hydrogen-related railway projects.
Liaise with vendors, EPCs, and OEMs to gather technical and commercial inputs.
Analyze energy efficiency, hydrogen yield, safety standards, and integration into existing rail infrastructure.
Support the development of pilot projects and scale-up strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and finance.
Stay updated with national and international hydrogen policies and rail industry standards.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field.
510 years of experience in hydrogen energy systems, with exposure to electrolyze technologies.
Experience in cost estimation, project planning, or techno-commercial evaluation.
Knowledge of hydrogen safety, storage, and fuel cell integration is a plus.
Exposure to railway electrification or rolling stock projects is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Location -Gurugram

Preferred:

Experience working on government or large infrastructure projects related to hydrogen or renewable energy.
Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, or estimation software.
