Job Summary:
We are looking for an accomplished Chartered Accountant with 8 to 10 years of Internal Audit experience to lead financial governance and risk management across our client’s international operations. The role will focus on strengthening compliance, ensuring accurate project costing, monitoring vendor and client contracts, and safeguarding asset utilization across multiple geographies. A strong working knowledge of IFRS is essential for alignment with global reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Internal Audit & Compliance

Develop and execute internal audit plans covering international event projects, procurement, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and statutory regulations in all operating geographies.
Identify and mitigate cross-border financial, tax, and operational risks.
Project & Event Costing

Review and validate global event/project budgets, profitability, and cost allocations.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition for multi-country projects in line with IFRS.
Audit reconciliations of materials, rentals, logistics, and third-party vendor services.

Asset & Inventory Controls

Monitor utilization, movement, and maintenance of event structures, fabrication materials, and technical equipment across borders.
Audit inventory, rentals, and logistics to ensure accuracy and prevent leakages.
Reporting & Advisory

Deliver clear, impactful audit reports to senior leadership and audit committees.
Advise management on financial controls, compliance risks, and process improvements.
Support external audits and regulatory reviews in different jurisdictions.

Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in internal audit frameworks, IFRS, and multi-country compliance.
Deep knowledge of project costing, vendor management audits, and risk assessment in project-driven industries.
Experience with global ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and audit tools.
Ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional tax and regulatory environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in multicultural setups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA (or equivalent international qualification).
8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit.
IFRS certification (ACCA Diploma in IFRS or equivalent) preferred.
Prior exposure to structures, event solutions, EPC projects, or large-scale event management is highly desirable.
Experience working with global clients, Big4 consulting, or multinational corporate internal audit teams is an advantage.
