Job description
What you’ll do
Job Description:
Lead the project execution from RFQ to Concept to SOP independently
Point of Contact for the assigned project
Guide and train new engineers
Deliver the multiple activities in agreed timeline
Studying the Customer input Product drawing / Specification for RFQ
Preparing concept design and manufacturing drawings for assigned products Non-Automotive products (Car Dashcam, BLDC Fan / LED Driver Controller, Cooler / Air Conditioner Controller etc)
Working with cross functional teams for inputs and outputs
Preparing bill of material for mechanical design
Detailed 3D model & 2D drawings to be prepared along with Stack Up analysis and GD&T
Cost saving design proposals to be explored / proposed
DFM & DFA review with CFT
Design Review meeting to be conducted with CFT
Engineering change management and QMS process adherence
Any other specific Skill / Knowledge:
Diploma or BE in Mechanical engineering
5-15 Yrs of Experience in mechanical design of non-automotive components with Creo 3D Tool
Experience in Mechanical design of Non-Automotive component design and Systems design
Experience of display/Speedometer, Plastic and casting design is added advantage
Team player and good communication & presentations skills
