Job Description
Leadership & Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistent delivery of services and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues, addressing underlying challenges , and act of first point of contact for escalated concerns
Provide transactional assistance within Workday tied to employee lifecycle events and other administrative processes
Oversee end-to-end benefit administration for India
Ensure accuracy of the benefits reconciliation and general benefits maintenance
Assist with benefit policy renewals and coordinate with vendors to resolve employee claims and inquiries as needed.
Oversee HR vendor billing for US, Canada, UK & India, including conducting reconciliations, analysis and audits
Review and approve invoices within Dynamics
Team Development & Performance
Provide performance coaching, feedback, and upskilling opportunities for HRSD team members to enhance capability and accountability.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring SOPs and documentation are current and utilized.
Track team metrics, identify trends, and act on areas for improvement and growth.
Process Optimization & Innovation
Drive operational efficiency through standardization, simplification, and implementation of AI and automation solutions.
Champion process redesign efforts to improve service delivery and enhance the employee experience.
Support vendor management and evaluate third-party effectiveness against defined SLAs.
The Successful Applicant
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Post-secondary education (University or College graduate)
6+ years of related work experience with an HRIS in a high-volume shared service shared services environment, supporting various countries (Workday experience is an asset)
A minimum of 2 years’ management or equivalent experience
Experience working in a global team (Follow-the-sun model an asset)
Experience with Benefit policy and vendor management
Knowledge of Invoicing processes and systems (Dynamics, SAP preferred)
Experience with a case management system (SolarWinds experience is an asset)
Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
KEY COMPENTENCIES / BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being fluent in both written and spoken English
Conscientious with a strong attention to accuracy and details
Self motivated, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple projects / priorities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Ability to generate trust, confidence and credibility
Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to demonstrate sound decision-making, considering team and organizational goals
