What you’ll do
Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager – Indirect Tax & GA
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: CFO
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Role Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all indirect taxation matters of the organization, ensuring full statutory compliance, optimizing tax positions, and aligning tax strategies with business objectives. The role demands a strong understanding of GST, trust accounting, IND-AS, and fund flow management, along with the ability to support finalization of accounts and SR redemption processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations
Implement, monitor and close the month-, quarter and year-end accounting book
Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams
Ensure timely and accurate year-end book closing and account finalization.
Ensuring indirect tax compliance
Timely filing of indirect tax returns
Managing deliverables for board meetings, audit committees, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) as Mandatory / Strongly Preferred
Experience:
4-6 years of relevant experience in indirect tax, finance, and accounting domains.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in Indirect Taxation
Strong understanding of Accounting Standards (IND-AS)
Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAP, Tally, etc.)
Problem-solving and decision-making capability
Ability to handle audits, compliance reviews, and policy interpretation
