What you’ll do
Role & responsibilities

Taking full responsibility over the design activities and take responsibility of the basic and detailed electrical engineering, as well as the follow up of the schedules.
To manage the purchase of any kind of electrical equipment for the project and participate in the project startup up to stabilization and formal closure, side by side and well-coordinated with the other disciplines project team.
To take active participation and involvement in projects through the preliminary execution of proposals for equipment sizing calculations, main and distribution substations, and single line diagrams and any other electrical engineering necessities arisen during any phase of the project.
To review and develop calculations for electrical and automation equipment’s and materials.
To support the projects construction team during project execution, startup and commissioning stages, providing im mediate and effective solutions in order to ensure cost, quality, and execution time. As well as active participation during the startup and commissioning of the project in the electrical discipline mainly.
Participate in the evaluation of global Electrical installation technologies and equipment’s suppliers in order to keep up to date the Company standards. Ensuring the most competitive cost and quality. (like: Grounding, lightning, lighting, wirings, motors, transformers, switchgears, MCC, field devices, etc.).
To review all the information, drafts and certified engineering deliverables from the electrical equipment’s suppliers.
To support other Company departments (Procurement, Projects) in the related activities of its disciplines when required (Review of technical information of Vendor offers, development of internal technical procurement documentation, review of Vendors technical documentation, ).
To implement the applicable project job specification, standards and international codes to develop the projects.
To work internally the Electrical designers within electrical department.
To supervise externally outsourced engineering, when applicable.
To participate and lead when required the engineering meeting internally and externally with clients.
To develop itself the most critical designs, support other designers.
To coordinates with other engineering disciplines and project specialist at NOVARGI Indian branch and/or Headquarters to improve the better engineering solutions for the global project and to close any interface and task.

Preferred candidate profile

Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7-15 years experience in similar function.
Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Refining or Petrochemical Industry.
At leat six years Electrical Project Engineer at site related to industrial plants.
Knowledge and Experience of ETAP and DIALUX
Wide knowledge and experience in the applicable software as ETAP, ETAB, EPLAN, Lighting software, AUTOCAD and other.
Wide knowledge of IEC code.
Fluent in English.
