Position Title: Product Portfolio Strategy – API

Job Deliverables:

Develop a strategic portfolio of pharmaceutical APIs through market research, competitor analysis, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Strategy Development: Identify and prioritize new APIs based on market trends and clinical needs. Align with company objectives.

Market and Competitive Analysis: Analyze demand, competition, and pricing. Monitor patent landscapes and regulatory environments.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work with R&D for technical feasibility, manufacturing for compliance, and sales/marketing for go-to-market strategies.

Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and manage the approval process.

Business Development: Evaluate licensing/partnership opportunities and manage external relationships.

Portfolio Management: Monitor performance, oversee product life cycles, and implement cost reduction strategies.

Financial Analysis: Prepare financial models, and business cases, and track performance against targets.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors/Masters in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.

Experience: 5+ years in pharmaceutical portfolio management or related roles.

Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills; knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.
