Your impact

Process engineering design activities for industrial projects such as semiconductors, specialty chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, including basic and detailed engineering.

Develop optimal process designs through simulations, heat and material balances, and equipment size.

Actively participate in process safety studies, such as HAZOP, SIL, and PHA, to identify and minimize potential risks.

Develop process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process control narratives.

Support and guide interdisciplinary project teams, including mechanical, piping, and instrumentation engineers.

Work with customers, vendors, and regulators to meet project needs and industry standards.

Led process optimization projects to enhance efficiency, dependability, and sustainability of existing processes.

Calculating loads for clean utilities, line sizing, and distribution design (e.g. water injection, clean steam, process gases).

Assisting with project planning, cost development, and scheduling.

Effective communication with project team and customers.

Demonstrates proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, EDR, Aspen Flare System Analyzer, PipeFlo (Professional and Compressible), AFT Fathom & Arrow, Intelligent Software, HTRI, and Plant Design software.

Perform man-hour estimation and deliverables for proposal preparation.

Review vendor documentation.

Ensure package process needs are captured appropriately in specs.

Conducted technical conversations with owners, licensors, and suppliers to develop process schemes and inputs for utility system design. To build the process configuration, evaluate and recommend several options for different process schemes.

Ensure timely delivery of process engineering deliverables in accordance with schedule.

Ensures process deliverables meet technical standards.

Planned pre-commissioning and commissioning operations for startups.

Here’s what you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering.

10-12 years of experience working on manufacturing projects in Industrial, Chemical, Semiconductor, or pharmaceutical sectors.

Must have experience of design consulting organization either working currently or in the past in Industrial Projects.
