What you’ll do
The Senior Manager of HR Operations & Administration will oversee all human resources and administrative functions for our Company. This role involves managing the entire employee lifecyclefrom recruitment and onboarding to compliance and exit procedureswith a special focus on the needs of a factory workforce. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategic HR initiatives with the day-to-day administrative needs of a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations and Administration
Supervise and manage all daily HR operational tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes.
Oversee payroll preparation, benefits administration, and management of employee attendance and leave tracking.
Ensure employee records are maintained and HR information systems (HRIS) with high confidentiality and data integrity.
Ensure discipline around time office at work.
Manage general office administration duties, including vendor coordination for security & housekeeping.
Manage Liasoning with local authorities for Licenses
Ensure health & safety protocols are executed across
Manage Senior authorities drivers, commercial vehicles, bus services for staff.
2. Employee Relations
Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, handling grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in a fair and timely manner.
Foster a positive and safe work environment by developing and implementing employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between plant management and employees, facilitating communication and resolving work-related issues.
Handle inquiries related to company policies, benefits, and labor regulations.
3. Talent Recruitment & Management
Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant-level and administrative roles, from sourcing and screening to hiring and onboarding.
Collaborate with leadership to create a workforce plan that addresses current needs and future growth projections.
Coordinate for performance management and appraisal processes for the staff.
Ensure assessments, Identification of training and development needs and coordinate programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
4. Compliance and Policy Management
Ensure full compliance with all statutory laws and regulations by Selec & by its contractors.
Ensure all matters w.r.t. PF, ESIC, PT, WC, MLWF, legal cases are dealt with in timely manner.
Manage contract labor administration and ensure all third-party vendors meet regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
Preferrable Candidate Details-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. An MSW, MLS is a plus.
Experience:
1015 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in a manufacturing, plant, or industrial setting is essential.
Skills & Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce, including blue-collar employees.
