Training & Role Allocation: New recruits will undergo training in banking operations before being assigned to various business and IT roles, based on their aptitude and temperament.

Focus on IT Skills: SBI is placing a strong emphasis on hiring individuals with technology skills to enhance its IT infrastructure and meet the increasing demands of the banking sector.

Employee Strength: As of March 2024, SBI’s total employee count stood at 2,32,296, a slight decrease from 2,35,858 in FY23.
